Dear Young Israel of Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale Community:

Many people in our own community and surrounding area are in desperate need for food during Shabbat and Yom Tov.  Tomchei  Shabbos is a special YIH fund and  all proceeds go directly toward the purchase of food.  This is a great chesed  opportunity for you  to step up and help your neighbors.  A yearly donation of $520 is only $10 a week (which equals two cups of coffee) and will make a big difference to those who need your help.  Be a part of a project that enhances Shabbat and Yom Tov for families in Hollywood. 

A generous anonymous donor has pledged $10,000 for every $20,000 raised.  Every donation makes a difference and will be appreciated.
