As you'll see when you read through this issue, we have a lot of excitement planned for Purim.
Like in years past, our Mesibat Meir Purim Celebration is dedicated in loving memory of Michael Zablotsky, the son of Charles and Lily Zablotsky, who was tragically taken from us at age 20, just days before Purim 5755/1995.
When you join in sponsoring Mesibat Meir, you'll help us keep Michael Zablotsky's memory alive, and enable us to continue making Purim a fun and exciting experience for the children (and kids at heart) of our community.

V'Shinantam ROCKS Finale This Saturday Night
3 teen volunteer opportunities in the next 3 days
We need some help and have several community service opportunities in the next few days. As with the dinner, Shira will send your hours into your schools immediately after Purim.
- This Saturday night, starting immediately after Shabbat ends: V'Shinantam finale. Need help giving out tickets & prizes, making popcorn & sno kones, etc.
- Sunday, 10am to 3pm: Pre-Purim Carnival. Need help with setup, popcorn and sno kones, supervising water slides, etc.
- Monday night after megillah reading: We're having a Purim party and need help with a lot of what's going on there, including---you guessed it---popcorn & sno kones.
We know that the last one conflicts with the KYHS Purim Chagiga, so we're counting on our people from Posnack, BMA, Ben Gamla, RASGHA, Hills, and other schools for that one.
There is no need to RSVP to help. We'd love to have you and can use your help, even if you show up at the last minute!

Purim Festivities - sponsors needed

Dear YIH Members,
As we prepare for Purim, big plans are in the works for our annual Mesibat Meir Purim Celebration. As in years past, the celebration is dedicated in loving memory of Michael Zablotsky, the son of Charles and Lily Zablotsky, who was tragically taken from us at age 20, just days before Purim 5755/1995.
We are seeking sponsors for this event; as this is the only time of year that the Youth Department does an open solicitation of funds, I hope we can count on you to help make Purim a wonderful experience for the children of our community.
Here's a lineup of the activities we have planned; a flier also appears at the end of this email.
SUNDAY, MARCH 8, 11am - 2pm:
- Mesibat Meir Purim Carnival
- NO COSTUMES - You WILL get wet!!!
- Water fun for all - South Florida's TALLEST inflatable water slide!
- Popcorn, Sno Kones, and more!
MONDAY, MARCH 9, after the main shul megillah reading:
- Mesibat Meir Purim Celebration
- Hamantashen & other Purim treats
- Music & Dancing
- A super-fun surprise interactive activity that is hilarious fun for all ages, whether you are participating or watching
- Avi Frier Dress-Alike Contest - valuable prize on the line! - must be 21 or older to win
- This event will be awesome--we'd never steer you wrong, and that's no bull!
