ADULT & FAMILY HAPPENINGS
A new way to stay in the loop on YIH adult activities
We created a Whatsapp group to provide updates about fun, engaging, and educational events for YIH adults and families.
This group is BROADCAST ONLY which means you will NOT be flooded with messages. You will only receive occasional announcements from the YIH programming department.
Over 100 people accepted the invitation to join the group within a few hours of its creation, so to make sure that we do not hit the maximum membership too quickly, we created a second group to serve the same purpose.
Please choose one of the links below to join one of these groups and stay in the loop. Choose at random, you don't need both:

The big day has finally arrived. Our inaugural BizConnect event featuring Mayor Josh Levy is tomorrow morning!
You can register online until midnight tonight (even if you miss the online registration you can join us anyway, but---gasp---your name tag will be handwritten instead of all fancy personalized).
Below is the explanation I sent around last week about why I started YIH BizConnect (I know some of you missed it). It is followed by all of the details about the event. Or you can simply click here to see the details and register now.
----------------------------------------------
In the past few years, as our shul has grown exponentially, I have heard several conversations that went something like this:
"I didn't know you sell _______! If I had known, I would have bought ______ from you when I outfitted my office last month!"
...or...
"I didn't know you were looking for ______! If I had known, I could've gotten you a much better deal!"
...or...
"I didn't know you work for ______! If I had known, I would have asked you for a referral when they were hiring ______!"
These conversations are the exact reason why one of my top priorities when I took on the position of Director of Youth, Adult, and Family Programming has been to start BizConnect.
Have you been sitting behind the same person in shul for the past year, not realizing you could be doing business together?
Have you shaken hands and said "Shabbat Shalom" to the same person for the past year, not realizing that this person is looking for a job, and could bring a wealth of needed talent to your company or organization?
Have you raised a L'Chaim with the same person at smachot and kiddushim for the past year, not realizing that they are in the market for what you sell?
You can't possibly know the answers to these questions unless you ask. And BizConnect is the perfect forum for asking.
I hope you'll join us at next week's inaugural BizConnect event. Below are the details. Click here to register.
