LATKE is This Saturday Night! What You Need To Know
What is Bashevkin Latke Night?
Bashevkin Latke Night is our annual pre-Chanukah event that combines Chanukah picture bingo, TV-style game shows, Chanukah treats, and amazing prizes, for an evening jam-packed with action, excitement, and fun!
What ages can participate?
All ages! This is a family event brought to you by the YIH youth department. Kids old enough to recognize a picture and mark it on a bingo board are ready for LATKE! Kids who are too old to love winning cash and prizes should probably stay home.
Will there be food?
Absolutely! There will be pizza, popcorn, sno-kones, chocolate coins, doughnuts, and, of course, LATKES! All are included in the cost of admission.

BONUS RAFFLE FOR WHATSAPP MEMBERS:
We have Whatsapp groups that help keep everyone in the loop about Youth Department happenings. Every member of these groups will be automatically entered in prize drawings that will take place throughout the night. To qualify for the drawings, all you need is to be a member of every group that is applicable to the children in your family.
A list of all of these groups with links to join can be found at yih.org/whatsapp. For privacy reasons, you must be logged into your YIH account in order to view this page. If you are unable to do so, reply to this message and I'll send you the invite links. Please include each child's gender and grade so that you are invited to the correct groups.

At this year's Bashevkin LATKE Night, we will attempt to break at least three world records. Everyone in attendance will get credit for their participation. We're not going to reveal the exact plans until that night, but you can expect this year's Bashevkin LATKE Night to be more exciting and newsworthy than ever before!

A new way to stay in the loop on YIH adult activities
We created a Whatsapp group to provide updates about fun, engaging, and educational events for YIH adults and families.
This group is BROADCAST ONLY which means you will NOT be flooded with messages. You will only receive occasional announcements from the YIH programming department.
Over 100 people accepted the invitation to join the group within a few hours of its creation, so to make sure that we do not hit the maximum membership too quickly, we created a second group to serve the same purpose.
