Next week's Achdut Social and other exciting events

The Achdut Social:
More than 20 years ago, a member of our shul noted a disconnect between the older and younger generations among our membership. That YIH congregant, Rabbi Harold Konovitch, set out to create an event that would bring the generations together. It was a Chanukah party of sorts, that came to be known as The Achdut Social.
Since Rabbi Konovitch's passing, his family has continued to sponsor the event in his memory. It has gone through some transformation (this year it transitioned from Chanukah to Tu B'Shevat), but it continues to pursue the goal of uniting the generations of our shul.
This year's Achdut Social will take place this coming Tuesday, February 11, at 6:15 PM. In addition to the fun activities we have planned, YIH's most creative kids will compete for a cash prize in our first ever Tu B'Shevat Build A Tree Contest.
